Another exciting, fun filled, crash ‘em up day at Penticton Speedway! First in the Trophy Dash was Norm in #31. First in the “B” Heat was #87. First in the “A” Heat was Dale Atwood #04. The Main Event was won by Scotty in the Penticton Speedway truck, second was Ken Atwood #2-4 and third was Dale Atwood #04.

The turn out was great for the first Hit2Pass race of the season! There was 14 Hit2Pass cars, a great show! Dale Atwood #04 Dan’s Tire car took first place in the Trophy Dash, and the heat race was won by #70(I think) driven by Kelly Milroy. The main event was crazy with the cars towing trailers and boats and the winner was the #04 Car driven by Dale Atwood, second place won by Scotty in the Penticton Speedway truck and third place went to The Young Guns racing team! All in all an awesome day with temps in the 20′s and alot of happy faces

What a GREAT end to an awesome HIT2PASS season! It was a cold and rainy day, but that didn’t stop the fans from coming to the Day of Destruction! With the nasty weather, only the Hornets and Hit2Pass cars were running.. the track was a grease slicked nightmare with the wetness,and the cars and truck were all over the place..add a few trailers and boats to the mix and it was total mayhem out there. Brian Poppe, pit boss, drove the Penticton Speedway truck for his birthday and ended up driving most of the race with the driver side front tire on the rim, who knew a vehicle can steer so well that way! It was a great end to a fantastic racing season and exciting to see a thankful Carol win the 2010 Dodge Challenger! The main event win goes to Norm Swerdferger #31, second went to #00 Dave Tenborg and Kenny Atwood #2-4 took third! This seasons championship goes too….(drumroll)… Dale Atwood! Driver of the #04 car from Dans Tire! Drop by Dan’s Tire in Kelowna to see the trophy.. Until next year.. happy Hit2Pass dreams and hopefully I can get some really old races up here from the early days of Hit2Pass! Cheers!

September 25 had some great racing all the way around! Even the streetstocks got down and dirty with a little hitting of their own and 5 cars received some healthy damage! HIT2PASS main event started off with 13 cars. There was some great crashes with nothing too serious. Kelly Milroy #70 won the main event, with #31 Norm Swerdferger in second and #04 Dale Atwood, our points leader, came in third! Penticton Speedway held a 50/50 draw for the passenger of the #34 Car from the last race who broke his collarbone in a hit2pass crash, these races can be dangerous if the car isn’t built like a tank, so if you’re going to get on that track, you’re going to be taking your chances and going in at your own risk!
DON’T MISS THE LAST RACE OF THE SEASON ON OCTOBER 30 AT 2PM, IT IS A DAY OF DESTRUCTION! PENTICTON SPEEDWAY WILL ALSO BE DRAWING FOR THE WINNER OF THE 2010 CHALLENGER AND YOU HAVE TO BE THERE TO WIN IT!!!!
